Nasha Mukt Abhiyan: Say No to Drugs, Say Yes to Life

K.K. Medical College & Hospital, Rajgir organized a Nasha Mukt Abhiyan under the chairmanship of the Dean, in accordance with the vision and guidelines of the National Medical Commission (NMC) to promote a healthy, responsible and substance-free environment within medical institutions.

The programme brought together faculty members, doctors, residents, nursing and non-teaching staff with a shared commitment to creating awareness about the harmful effects of drug and substance abuse. The initiative emphasized the important role of healthcare professionals as role models and advocates for a healthy, addiction-free society.

During the programme, staff members were encouraged to make a conscious commitment to “Say No to Drug Addiction and Yes to Life.” The session highlighted the physical, psychological, social and professional consequences of substance abuse and encouraged everyone to adopt healthy lifestyle choices while supporting colleagues and members of the community who may be struggling with addiction.
